Emily Jennings
Third grade teacher, Beauregard Elementary, Opelika, Alabama
Emily Jennings is in her 10th year of teaching elementary students in Alabama Title I public schools. She has her B.S. in Elementary Education from Auburn University and her M.Ed in Reading from the University of West Florida. While Emily has spent the majority of her career in upper elementary, she has championed explicit phonics intervention in upper grades. Emily, her husband Chris, their 3-year-old daughter Emma Grace, and dog Teddy reside in Opelika, Alabama.
